If you have never been to the ART DISTRICT in LOS ANGELES, here are just a few photos of some of the amazing art and attractions which I saw yesterday on my way to meet some people at a gallery.
There are many very creative works of graffiti art of which the first photo of the Angel Wings is one. People line up to take a photo as I did as the LOVE ANGEL, spreading love with my heart sunglasses too. Many people constantly compliment me on my heart sunglasses and when I am telling them I am spreading love and also about OUR REVOLUTION, they are thrilled and very supportive.
Even though the graffiti artist of the Angel Wings so thoughtfully put a rock for short people to stand on, I was still too short so the angel wings also rise above my head. Maybe that was part of his point and the art; we are angels from our head to our toes.
Then I came upon the “Benjamin” Salon which was a reminder to me that my wonderful GRANDFATHER BEN is always with me. The next photo is this very creative window art. Everywhere you turn in the LA Art District there is some form of art.
There are many little shops which have artistic items for sale and their merchandising is very creative too. It reminds me of Ojai, California and many of the shops on Main Street.
Ojai is also a wonderful place with a lot of art and natural beauty. At one of the shops in the Art District I saw this cookbook of Artistic Cakes of which the cover shown below is of Mondrian’s famous painting. I was quite impressed. Then walking along I saw many beautiful purple, pink and even this yellow tree filled with beautiful yellow blossoms.
There is so much more. One of my friends and I plan to go back to CAFE GRATITUDE on Santa Fe Avenue to have one of their salads, sandwiches, wraps, bowls or other entrees named: “Liberated; Elated; Bountiful; Giving; Committed; Original; Pure” and so many other great names. Their coffees, teas, smoothies and wines are also cleverly named such as: “Charmed; Heavenly; Epic; Vibrant; Golden; Brave; Illuminated” and many more. There are so many great choices just as there are IN LIFE.
***So, take advantage of your FREEDOM or FIGHT FOR IT as we are doing with OUR REVOLUTION by proudly spreading the truth and using our own special skills, education and talents to HEAL THE WORLD.
In the Art District I went to my favorite ice cream shop named SALT & STRAW and treated myself to their famous honey, lavender ice cream and strawberry, coconut sherbet in their homemade waffle cone. Needless to say it was delicious especially in the beautiful, warm LA weather and I will be working out extra hard today. Fyi, you can order half scoops so you can try more than one flavor. This is what I do.
The LA Art District is also near LITTLE TOKYO which I love. The Japanese-American History Museum had a wonderful exhibit on COURAGE about many during WWII and the INTERNMENT CAMPS. I read to my children the book about this shameful American time in history called “Baseball Saved Us” and I will write about this exhibit next time.
It is obvious that shamefully and disgracefully many today, including the Jews who suffered at the hands of Adolph Hitler, STILL have not learned the lessons of terror as my lawsuits and FRAUDULENT AND INVALID DIVORCE JUDGMENT prove.
Thus onward and upward with OUR REVOLUTION to promote Love, Truth, Justice, Equal Rights, and Freedom for all AS WE enjoy the beauty surrounding us; which GOD has provided.
