The Lionel Richie and Mariah Carey concert at the beautiful Hollywood Bowl was just amazing and very inspirational too. A photo of the Bowl is attached. You can see the Hollywood sign in the background, Hollywood Hills and feel the perfect evening weather.
I was not as familiar with Mariah but I was very impressed. She came out in this tasteful gold glittering gown with a gold bikini underneath and looked and sang with such talent. She sang many of her hit songs for about one hour.
This concert was billed as a private event and Mariah choose not to pay for the jumbo video screens so it was difficult to see all the details. But, the sound, of course, was amazing along with the light show and graphics.
As an added attraction, Mariah’s two young children came on stage for one song. It was so sweet to see Mariah in her motherly role as her children sang a little bit with her guidance.
I did not know Mariah wrote her hit song “Hero” which she performed. I have attached it here so you can listen to it if you choose.
Then the entire stage was reset for Lionel’s show. He made a grand entrance in black pants and a black shirt with a silver sports coat and many lights flashing all around. He paid for the jumbo tv screens so we could see much more detail. He also had great graphics and lights. Then when he sang “Brick House” every time he sang the word “fire,” fire shot up on the roof of the Bowl which was quite a special effect.
Lionel also has a great sense of humor and seems to be very kind too. The lady sitting next to me had been to Lionel’s house and knows him personally and said he really is very nice. He let some of his band members take the limelight which I thought was very nice.
Then when Lionel was standing upstage, his band members were quietly trying to tell him he was in the wrong place. When he realized this, he announced that he was getting ahead of himself because he was in place for the next song not this song and his band members were trying to tell him. The way he communicated this was very funny.
Lionel is just so talented as a piano player, singer and entertainer in general. He put on an amazing show.
Then he made a tribute to many legends who have passed away. Specifically, he performed the song he wrote with Michael Jackson. I have attached it below for you to listen to if you choose. I really love this song too.
Now, I am beginning to write my opening brief for my restraining order case where my horrible, cruel husband requested that an invalid restraining order be illegally renewed for 15 years which is evil, absurd and criminal because I cannot attend my children’s events and celebrations if he and his mistress, alleged wife are there even though I am a loving, law-abiding Woman and Mother.
So onward and upward as truth, justice, equal rights and of course Love and God are prevailing.
***Never underestimate me because not only does a “Hero lie in me,” I also understand love.
As always, none of this is legal or any other advice; it is based upon my knowledge and experience.
