The timeless classic novel “1984” by George Orwell which is currently appearing off Broadway in Los Angeles very accurately depicts the terror of living in a subjective world where TRUTH is forbidden and clearly explains the importance of having an Open Heart.
Not only is truth forbidden but those trying to expose the truth are terrorized. The special effects of the show brilliantly terrorize the audience at times as many were truly at the edge of their seats.
Orwell and his show at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica so brilliantly illustrate that when truth is subjective whereby it depends on what those in charge want it to be that those in charge become so CONFUSED they no longer know if they are dreaming or if what they are thinking and doing is reality.
These leaders by trying to CONTROL THE FUTURE, lose control of their own minds and hearts. As a result, they die of shame, guilt, and frustration and in a very hopeless state of mind. This is all because they refused to face the truth and thought they were so powerful and influential that they would never fall from grace.
The leaders who DO face the truth usually do so because their hands are forced and are in so much pain, not because they willingly agree to. Thus, they STOP TRYING TO MAKE THEIR HEART STUBBORN and instead develop compassion for others which ENABLES them to see the truth.
As a result of their strengthen heart; they will not be detrimentally influenced by the pain from their past or even the present. They will instead take back their emotions and feelings and BEGIN to be compassionate towards others without having an ulterior motive.
They no longer will be afraid to refuse to do what they are ordered and instead will graciously do what they WISH to do.
Their strong, compassionate heart ENABLES them to see the truth and become compassionate without being fearful but feeling EMPOWERED.
When you are haughty and arrogant you cannot see the truth and do not know if you are dreaming or your thoughts are what is reality.
In a democratic republic and in reasonable not radical religions, all laws are equally binding on Everyone.
Thus, with compassion, truth, integrity and love, a person earns the esteem of their enemy because their enemy cannot destroy them with their lies and schemes because the TRUTH will always prevail because with truth comes compassion and love.
Orwell’s “1984” novel and the show based upon the novel make these points very clear and so does history.
Just one example is the Passover story of the Pharaoh of Egypt. After experiencing all the plagues; he finally developed a strong heart and opened it and let the Jews leave Egypt and live as free people, no longer his slaves.
Living with a strong heart, being truthful, compassionate and able to love is a beautiful way to live.
This is how I have lived my entire life and I have disassociated with those who insist on living with a stubborn heart which is filled with lies, hate and shame, not love.
Choose the way YOU want to live and those YOU want to associate with and remember, your choices determine your destiny. If you doubt my words, please read Orwell’s classic novel “1984” or see the show too.
As always, none of this is legal or any other advice; it is based upon my knowledge and experiences
